I stayed at a hostel near Myvatn lake, surrounded by stunning mountains. The kitchen and shared facilities were clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. Despite being a bit isolated, the peaceful and quiet atmosphere was worth it. I highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay at a hostel located just outside of Húsavík. The service was exceptional and the facilities were clean and in good shape. The highlight was definitely the big kitchen where I was able to cook and enjoy breakfast. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Additionally, the location was perfect, within walking distance of a beautiful bay where seals reside. It was a great value for the price and even offered a free laundry service as a bonus.

We got great value for our money at Berg Hostel. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was beautiful, with mountains, lava fields, and horses to admire. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Breakfast delights could be improved with a wider variety of food options.
